‘Lenin’ BO Day 4: Akhil Akkineni’s film mints Rs 41.42 crore worldwide

'Lenin' box office collection day 4: Akhil Akkineni's action entertainer mints Rs 41.42 crore worldwide

Akhil Akkineni starrer ‘Lenin’ continues its run from the opening weekend into the weekdays at a decent pace at the box office. The action drama helmed by Murali Kishor Abburu has been able to hold the audience even with the usual Monday slump. The film is backed by strong performances, positive word-of-mouth, and an action-packed narrative that has helped draw audiences in key markets. With collections holding up well, ‘Lenin’ is inching closer to a major box office milestone in just four days.

‘Lenin’ box office collections remain impressive

According to Sacnilk, ‘Lenin’ collected an estimated net of Rs 3.60 crore across 2,122 shows in India on day 4. With this, the film’s total India net collection has reached Rs 29.05 crore, while its India gross stands at Rs 33.37 crore. Overseas, the film earned another Rs 0.75 crore gross on its fourth day, taking its international total to Rs 8.05 crore. As a result, the film’s worldwide gross collection has climbed to Rs 41.42 crore. The movie opened with Rs 7.15 crore on day 1, followed by Rs 8.65 crore on day 2 and Rs 9.65 crore on day 3, before witnessing the expected weekday drop on its first Monday.

Positive word of mouth keeps the momentum alive

‘Lenin’ was released on July 10 and is being helped by the positive response from the audience, especially from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, where the film is still drawing good crowds. Despite mixed reviews, audiences liked the film for Akhil Akkineni’s performance, the action sequences, and the emotional moments. Bhagyashri Borse is the heroine, and Ramki, Sivaji, Sunil, Brahmaji, and Easwari Rao play key supporting roles. The mix of commercial action and emotional storytelling has helped the film to sustain its healthy run beyond its opening weekend.

‘Lenin’ set for a new milestone

With over Rs 41 crore already collected worldwide in just four days, ‘Lenin’ is now only a short distance away from crossing the Rs 50 crore mark globally. If the film continues to hold well during the weekdays, it is expected to achieve the milestone before the next weekend. For Akhil Akkineni, the film marks another encouraging step in his career, while director Murali Kishor Abburu delivered a theatrical entertainer that continues to find support among audiences. These next few days will decide whether ‘Lenin’ can continue to run successfully at the box office.DISCLAIMER: The box office numbers and the data in this article are compiled from public and industry sources.
