‘Chand Mera Dil’, starring Lakshya Lalwani and Ananya Panday, has received mixed reactions from the audience upon its release. The film opened to a decent box office collection of Rs 3 crore. However, there was no pre-release buzz around the film, and hence, the debut-day collection can be considered a good amount. Box office clash and competition

‘Chand Mera Dil’ clashed at the box office with the Hollywood release ‘Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu’. On the other hand, it is also facing competition from the previous week’s release, ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh Do’, starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Wamiqa Gabbi, Rakul Preet Singh, and Sara Ali Khan. However, despite no hype around the movie and amid box office competition, ‘Chand Mera Dil’ has managed to earn more than the recently released romantic film ‘Ek Din’, featuring Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi. The Aamir Khan-backed project had earned just Rs 1 crore on its Day 2.
