A Gujarati film, ‘Laalo – Krishna Sada Sahaayate,’ has achieved unprecedented success, becoming the highest-grossing film in the industry’s history. Initially released with little fanfare, its emotional and devotional themes resonated deeply, leading to a word-of-mouth explosion. The movie shattered expectations, crossing the Rs 60 crore mark in just 41 days, a remarkable turnaround from its modest opening.

Laalo – Krishna Sada Sahaayate, directed by Ankit Sakhiya and starring Karan Joshi, Reeva Rachh, Shruhad Goswami, Anshu Joshi, and Kinnal Nayak, has emerged as a sensational blockbuster at the Gujarati box office. What started as a slow release with minimal buzz has now turned into the highest-grossing Gujarati film of all time, crossing the Rs 60 crore mark in 41 days ,a historic feat for Gujaraticinema.The film opened modestly at Rs 2 lakh on Day 1, followed by Rs 4 lakh and Rs 8 lakh over the weekend. Week 1 ended with a quiet Rs 33 lakh , giving no major indication of the storm that was about to follow. Week 2 saw a small dip as it collected Rs 27 lakh. remained stable at Rs 0.29 crore, reflecting slow but consistent footfall.However, the real turnaround began in Week 3. Word-of-mouth exploded as people began to talk about the film’s emotional strength and devotional appeal. Collections jumped significantly, especially toward the weekend, taking Week 3 to Rs 62 lakh.Week 4 marked a dramatic shift. The film suddenly caught fire across Gujarat, with shows increasing due to unprecedented demand. Collections skyrocketed and it went on to collect Rs 12.08 crore. The momentum only intensified. In Week 5, Laalo delivered an extraordinary Rs 25. .7 crore, with numbers such as Rs 4.65 crore on Day 30, Rs 7.1 crore on Day 31, and Rs 3.5 crore on Day 34. This surge transformed the film into a phenomenon, with theatres adding more shows across cities and towns. Week 6 continued the winning streak, with the film collecting Rs 2.75 crore on Day 36, Rs 4.5 crore on Day 37, and peaking at Rs 6.5 crore on Day 38. Even weekday collections stayed strong with Day 40 at Rs 3 crore and Day 41 at Rs 2.65 crore as per early estimates.With 41-day collections comfortably crossing Rs 60 crore, Laalo – Krishna Sada Sahaayate has rewritten the record books. It has surpassed all previous Gujarati hits and entered mainstream conversation as one of India’s most surprising commercial successes of the year.
