Ordinarily, such numbers would indicate that the film is going to be out of the theaters but that’s where destiny changed for this film. Powered by exceptional word-of-mouth and deep emotional connect with audiences, Laalo witnessed a rare third-week surge with Rs 62 lakh. Then came the explosion.Week 4 collections shot up to an astonishing Rs 12.08 crore, marking one of the biggest jumps ever recorded for a Gujarati-language film.
