On the professional front, Kritika Kamra was seen in the OTT film, ‘The Great Shamshuddin Family’. Set over the course of a single day in Delhi, the story follows Bani as mothers, aunts, cousins and former romantic interests descend upon her home, each bringing their own chaos. As Bani navigates interfaith dynamics, generational clashes and mounting family expectations, she must choose between an international career opportunity and staying close to her family. The film also stars Farida Jalal, Shreya Dhanwanthary, Juhi Babbar Soni and Sheeba Chadda. ‘The Great Shamshuddin Family’ premiered on JioHotstar on December 12.

Before her current relationship with Gaurav Kapur, Kritika has dated Karan Kundra, her ‘Kitani Mohabbat Hai’ co-star. Kritika began acting in 2007 with the series “Yahan Ke Hum Sikandar”. She became famous as Arohi in ‘Kitani Mohabbat Hai’. Other series that Kritika starred in include ‘Pyaar Ka Bandhan’, ‘Kitani Mohabbat Hai 2’, and ‘Kuch Toh Log Kahenge’.
