Katy Perry shares first post since PDA with Justin Trudeau goes viral; says she is 'BEYOND excited'

Amidst chatter around her new romance with Justin Trudeau, singer Katy Perry, on Monday, shared her first post on her social media handles. Sharing a couple of stunning photos of herself, the pop star, who sparked a frenzy online over the weekend, took to her handle to post a note that read, “Scorpio Season is coming… but first, The Lifetimes Tour in LONDON NIGHT 1! BEYOND excited.”

The post marked Perry’s first public statement since the viral incident, which sent social media into a frenzy.In the photos, the singer stunned in an all-black jumpsuit and accessorised with a glitzy silver necklace.

In photos obtained by Daily Mail, Perry and Trudeau were sharing a passionate moment aboard her luxury yacht. The steamy shots showed Justin and Katy locked in a passionate embrace while also stealing kisses on the upper deck.

The singer has been in the spotlight recently, not just for her professional comeback but also for her personal life. Perry hit the headlines recently when news broke about her split from long-term partner, actor Orlando Bloom, with whom she shares a daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom. The couple was engaged for a couple of years before pulling the plug on their romance mid 2025.Soon after the split, Katy was spotted spending a dinner date with Trudeau. The duo first sparked dating rumours back in July after being spotted enjoying an intimate dinner in Montreal, followed by a cosy stroll through Mount Royal Park. Trudeau was later seen attending Perry’s Lifetimes tour stop in Canada. However, at the time, there was no confirmation about the two or their brewing romance.This is also Trudeau’s first publicised romance after his separation from wife, Sophie Grégoire, in 2023 after 18 years of marriage.
