American pop icon Katy Perry and Canada’s former Prime Minister Justin Trudeau have been rocking the headlines for their rumored romance. And recently, a report has confirmed that the songstress was initially scared to get involved again after she recently parted with Orlando Bloom. After months of persistent pursuit from Justin Trudeau, a report has confirmed that the singer and the politician are now an officially “exclusive” couple.According to the Mirror UK report, the two have been getting close over messages and FaceTime for a while. Just last week, they were even photographed sharing a serious kiss on Katy’s yacht off the Santa Barbara coast in California.According to an insider, Katy, who is 40, is quite comfortable with the new status and that she “didn’t seem to care” they were snapped.

Justin Trudeau’s Persistent Pursuit

It’s said that 53-year-old Justin had been actively wooing the musician for months. A source told the publication that “Justin was persistent when it came to dating Katy.” While she enjoys his company and finds him “incredibly smart,” Katy was initially hesitant.Reportedly, she was just coming off a major split and was focused on her grueling world tour. “But Justin continued to be present, continued showing up and wanting to be with her,” the source told the website, suggesting his dedication finally paid off. In fact, the Canadian politician has already been spotted supporting his new girlfriend’s career. He attended one of her concerts back in July in Montreal after they had an intimate dinner in the city. Katy is currently performing in London tonight before her European leg wraps up in France on November 7.

A big step for both stars

With this courting, each of the big names has taken a big step, particularly Katy, who recently ended her years-long relationship with Hollywood actor Orlando Bloom. The former couple have been together since 2016 and share a four-year-old daughter, Daisy. For the unversed, Bloom popped the question on Valentine’s Day in 2019 with a big, flower-formed engagement ring reportedly worth well around USD five million.A separate insider advised the Daily Mail that Katy no longer cares about Orlando’s feelings. The supply said that Katy “doesn’t know what Orlando thinks about Justin, and she doesn’t care.” They added, “He’s free to do whatever he wants too. She’s happy and having fun, which she’s allowed to do. So is he.” Go to Source
