Kartik Aaryan buys Rs 2 crore land in Alibaug for the first time, joins Big B and Kriti Sanon: 'I plan to build my own home there'

Kartik Aaryan has made his debut investment in land, expanding his real estate portfolio. The actor has purchased a 2,000 sq. ft. plot worth Rs 2 crore at Chateau de Alibaug, a flagship coastal development by The House of Abhinandan Lodha (HoABL).Confirming the development, Kartik told Hindustan Times, “Alibaug has become one of the most exciting places to invest in today — close to Mumbai and I plan to build my own home there. This is the first time I have invested in land and with full trust in The House of Abhinandan Lodha. I’m glad to have made this investment.”

With this acquisition, Kartik follows in the footsteps of stars like Amitabh Bachchan and Kriti Sanon, who have also invested in Alibaug through HoABL projects.Last year, Amitabh Bachchan purchased a 10,000 sq. ft. land parcel in Alibaug for Rs 10 crore, further strengthening his luxury real estate portfolio. Soon after, Kriti Sanon acquired a 2,000 sq. ft. plot in the Sol de Alibaug project, making Alibaug one of Bollywood’s most sought-after second home destinations.

On the work front, Kartik Aaryan has an exciting lineup ahead. He will be seen in Anurag Basu’s Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, co-starring Ananya Panday, which is scheduled to release during Valentine’s Day weekend in 2026 after a reported delay.The actor also has Naagzilla, slated for an August 2026 release, and is currently shooting for Basu’s upcoming musical saga with Sreeleela, expected to arrive in December 2025.
