Kareena celebrates Ganpati with Jeh, Taimur: PICS

Kareena Kapoor Khan recalls childhood Ganesh Chaturthi memories as she celebrates the festival with her kids Taimur, Jeh: 'RK family ganpati was special' - PICS inside

The festive spirit of Ganesh Chaturthi has taken over India, with people across the country welcoming Lord Ganesha into their homes. Celebrities, too, are celebrating the occasion with joy and devotion. Among them, Kareena Kapoor Khan marked the first day of the festival with a warm family celebration that beautifully blended tradition with her own cherished memories.Sharing glimpses on Instagram, Kareena posted pictures of her son Taimur offering prayers to Lord Ganesha. Alongside the photos, she wrote, I remember, as a child, the RK family Ganpati was always special, just like how we celebrated all festivals…Now, my children look forward to it too…Ganpati Bappa Morya! Bless us all with love and peace forever ❤️🌈 from all of us.” Fans quickly filled the comments section with wishes for a happy Ganesh Chaturthi. This isn’t the first time Kareena has given fans a peek into her Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. Back in the COVID-19 years, the actress had kept the festivities low-key, but her elder son, Taimur Ali Khan, made sure the festive spirit stayed alive in his own creative way.Instead of a clay idol, little Taimur built Lord Ganesha out of colourful Lego blocks. Kareena proudly shared the adorable moment on social media, posting a picture of Taimur praying beside his Lego Ganpati. Along with it, she wished everyone peace, good health, and safety. The Lego creation even included mini figurines of Taimur, Saif Ali Khan, and Kareena placed in front of the idol. With folded hands and a sweet smile, Taimur’s handmade Ganpati moment quickly won hearts online. After Saif Ali Khan was attacked at his house, earlier this year, Kareena and Saif have requested the paps to not click pictures of their kids. Kareena who was earlier posting many photos of her children has now also stopped showing their faces in pictures on social media due to security concerns. On work front, Kareena was last seen in ‘Singham Again’.
