Sharing his thoughts on Instagram, he wrote, “I am filming in a location that has no access to a cinema and am suffering from FOMO! DHURANDHAR FOMO. I can’t wait to watch it and am so proud of so many members of our fraternity who are coming out and supporting and loving the film… it’s so heartening to see the united love for an INDIAN FILM! @adityadharfilms @officialjiostudios @ranveersingh.”

Box office run breaks records

After collecting Rs 226.27 crore in India net within the first two days, it added Rs 113 crore on Day 3. This takes the total domestic net collection to Rs 339.27 crore as reported by Sacnilk website.

Performances receive strong praise

Ranveer Singh has been widely praised for his performance in the film. Critics have highlighted his ability to balance intensity with emotional depth. Our exclusive ETimes review stated, “The absence of Akshaye Khanna leaves the sequel without a formidable nemesis, diluting its impact. The story misses the tension and unpredictability that the powerful parallel leads once provided. Ranveer Singh steps into the spotlight solo this time as the stoic, lethal force once again sporting a hippy leather jacket, sunglasses, and voluminous hair (despite the stress). He is remarkable both as a ruthless killing machine and a broken man, yet it is in his quieter, introspective moments that he truly shines, particularly in an emotional scene with Sara Arjun, who delivers a convincing performance herself.”The review also praised Sanjay Dutt and Arjun Rampal, stating they are “in top form once again.”

Supporting cast and impact

Our review further noted, “Rakesh Bedi captivates in his fascinating role, relishing every shade of his character’s disloyalty. Danish Pandor as Uzair deserved more screen space.”Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar: The Revenge continues to dominate the box office with strong reviews.
