Kantara: India Post honors the film

India Post honors Kantara: Special cover and postcards of Rishab Shetty's film released; Check out pics

Expectations are indeed high as ‘Kantara: Chapter 1’ is all set to release in October. According to the latest updates, India Post released a Special Cover and two Picture Postcards celebrating Karnataka’s traditional ritual, Bootha Kola. The announcement was shared on social media. The official page of India Post shared the images of the Special Cover and Postcards being presented to director Rishab Shetty and producer Vijay Kiragandur.The Instagram post read, “India Post celebrates the spirit of Karnataka through a Special Cover and two Picture Postcards on Bootha Kola, a vibrant ritual where devotion, folklore, and tradition unite.”The post further reads, “Issued by Karnataka Postal Circle in association with Hombale Films, this release pays tribute to a cultural legacy recently showcased to global audiences through Kantara, and honours the stories that continue to inspire generations. (India Post, Special Cover, Postcards, Kantara, Homable Films, Karnataka).”

Rishab Shetty opens up on the journey

At a recent press event, Rishab Shetty shared the personal toll of bringing the project to life. “I am tired and finding it difficult to gather words to describe this journey. Usually, I am composed and mentally strong,” he confessed. Having spent months immersed in post-production, Rishab Shetty admitted that completing the film brought both relief and reflection.

Kantara: A Legend – Chapter 1 – Official Hindi Trailer

With characteristic humor and humility, he added, “I am somebody who doesn’t burden myself by worrying about my movie’s result.” He said that he is curious to see how people will respond to his film and it’s his state of mind after every project he takes on.

High hopes for ‘Kantara: Chapter 1’

The movie is set for its grand re-release on October 2 and the expectations are surely high. The trailer for the Rishab Shetty starrer was released recently and it promises a much wider universe than the first part. The popular Malayalam actor Jayaram will be also playing a pivotal role in the film.
