‘Kantara: Chapter 1’ fan in Dindigul dressed as deity stuns audience; Rishab Shetty’s film crosses Rs 150 crore in India

Directed by and featuring Rishab Shetty, ‘Kantara Chapter 1’ was released on October 2, and the film arrived in theatres for the Dussehra weekend. Released in multiple languages, the pan-India drama off to a tremendous start at the box office, and recorded Rs 90 crore on the opening day. ‘Kantara Chapter 1’ explores ancient roots, and the film revolves around the reign of the Kadamba dynasty. The Buta Kola ritual was well explained in the film, which has several devotional moments.

Fan dressed as deity stuns audience in Dindigul

Meanwhile, during the screening of the film ‘Kantara Chapter 1’ held in Dindigul, a fan dressed in a ‘goddess’ costume suddenly appeared and thrilled the audience there. That moment left everyone in awe, as they thanked “Divine Star” Rishab Shetty for giving them such a divine creation. Earlier, during the FDFS of ‘Kantara Chapter 1’ a fan in Bangalore turned devotional after the film’s screening, and the video went viral on social media. Fans across locations are getting devotionally connected to Rishab Shetty’s film, and it continues to shine at the box office.

Rishab Shetty gets a powerful support

Alongside Rishab Shetty, ‘Kantara Chapter 1’ has many talented stars that include Rukmini Vasanth, Jayaram, Gulshan Devaiah, and Kishore. Ajanesh Loknath has composed the music, adding a divine feel to the visuals. Arvind S. Kashyap has handled the cinematography, while Suresh Mallaiah showcased his talents in editing.

‘Kantara Chapter 1’ earns over Rs 150 crore in India

‘Kantara Chapter 1’ is a prequel to the 2022 release ‘Kantara’, which was directed by and featured Rishab Shetty. The global box office collection of the film has earned nearly Rs 200 crore worldwide in 3 days, while the film grossed over Rs 150 crore alone in India. Go to Source
