Kantara Chapter 1 box office day 32: Rishab Shetty film remains steady, touches Rs 610 crore

Rishab Shetty’s ‘Kantara Chapter 1’ continues its phenomenal theatrical run, surpassing ₹610 crore domestically even after its digital release. Steady collections on fifth Sunday

According to early estimates by Sacnilk, the film earned Rs 3.25 crore on its fifith Sunday, taking the overall collection at the domestic box office to Rs 610.40 crore. The report also stated that Kantara: A Legend Chapter-1 had an overall 37.56 percent Kannada, 32.00 percent Hindi, and 46.64 percent Tamil occupancy on Sunday, November 02, 2025.

Earlier, in a post, Rishab shared a picture of his swollen leg, due to the strenuous action sequences he endured during filming. With the image, Rishab Shetty wrote in Kannada and English, explaining the grueling conditions he faced. His post translated to English, he wrote, “This was during the climax shoot, a swollen leg, an exhausted body .. but today, the climax has become something that millions watch and admire.”He further added that it was possible due to the blessings of the divine energy and shared his thanks to everyone who supported him and the team.

Exploring the roots of the legend

Directed by Rishab Shetty, the film features Rukmini Vasanth, Gulshan Devaiah, and Jayaram in key roles. A prequel to the 2022 blockbuster Kantara, it explores the ancient origins of the Boota Kola ritual and deepens the mythology introduced in the first part.
