Kangana Ranaut who is known for always being candid and vocal on social media has once again created a stir with some of her recent, shocking revelations. Kangana’s reaction has come after AR Rahman’s comments on his recent interview where he hinted that Bollywood has become communal which has led him to get lesser work in the industry in the last eight years. While he said that he has directly never faced it, he has heard about it from people. Rahman had said, “Maybe I never got to know about this. Maybe it was concealed, but I didn’t feel any of this. Maybe in the past eight years, because a power shift has happened and people who are not creative have the power now. It might be a communal thing also but it is not in my face. It comes to me as Chinese whispers that they booked you, but the music company went ahead and hired their 5 composers. I say good, I have more time to chill with my family. I am not in search for work. I don’t want to go in search for work. I want work to come to me; my sincerity to earn work. Whatever I deserve, I get.” Reacting to the composer’s comments, Kangana called him the most prejudiced man as he refused to even meet her for her directorial ‘Emergency’. Kangana also revealed an incident where designer Masaba Gupta denied her a saree to wear for Ram Janmbhoomi and she cried in her car. She took to her Instagram stories and wrote, “I desperately wanted to narrate my directorial Emergency to you. Forget narration, you even refused to meet me. I was told you don’t want to be part of a propaganda film. Ironically, Emergency was called a masterpiece by all critics. Even opposition party leaders sent me fan leaders appreciating the film for its balanced and compassionate approach but you are blinded by your hate. I feel sorry for you #emergency.”Further Kangana said, “Forget films, the big designers who begged me to launch their jewellery and clothes in free fund ka campaigns because they claimed to be my best friends later refused to send my stylist clothes. They stopped talking to me or posting about me.” She added further, “One instance I will never forget is when I was wearing Masaba Gupta saree for Ram Janmbhoomi, and she told the stylist that I can’t go to Ram Janmbhoomi in her saree. I had already left from Lucknow for Ayodhya and it was not possible to change. I felt so humiliated and degraded that I quietly cried in my car. Later like other designers she told the stylist not to mention her or her brand’s name. Today AR Rahman ji shedding crocodile tears what about their own hate and prejudices?”

The ‘Queen’ actress said that at that point, she was such close friends with Masaba that she even danced at her wedding. She shared a picture where she is seen dancing with director Vikas Bahl and said, “I have never performed at my own sister’s wedding but 2016 was also the year when I performed at @masabagupta wedding.”

Meanwhile, during the same interview, Rahman also called ‘Chhaava’ a divisive film but said that he was honoured to score for a film based on Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj.
