Kangana Ranaut sparked secret wedding rumours after appearing in a mangalsutra and sindoor in Mumbai. She later clarified it was for a shoot, saying she would not marry secretly. Meanwhile, she is gearing up for Bharat Bhagya Vidhata’s June 12 release, alongside projects including a thriller with R. Madhavan and ‘Queen 2’.

Kangana Ranaut left fans intrigued after stepping out in Mumbai on Thursday evening (May 21) wearing a mangalsutra and sindoor. The look quickly sparked rumours of a secret wedding away from public attention. She completed her appearance with a bindi, green bangles, and sunglasses while heading to her car with security.

As rumours gained momentum, Kangana broke her silence and clarified that she has not secretly tied the knot, revealing that her look was for a shoot. Taking to Instagram stories on Friday, she shared that she has been flooded with calls ever since the speculation made headlines.

The actress wrote, “I am filming in and around the city every single day, some one clicked this random picture with character make up and now I am getting so many phone calls, but what is the big deal about the married woman look? Actors play all kinds of roles, I won’t marry secretly I promise.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Kangana Ranaut will next appear in ‘Bharat Bhagya Vidhata’, based on hospital staff who saved 400 lives during the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks, releasing on June 12. The film will clash with ‘Main Vaapas Aaunga’, starring Diljit Dosanjh, Vedang Raina, and Sharvari. She also has a thriller with R. Madhavan and ‘Queen 2’ lined up.
