Jr NTR’s visit at KIMS Hospitals sparks chaos, fans break escalator

Jr NTR’s visit at KIMS Hospitals sparks chaos, fans gather in large numbers, mob the actor, break escalator

Fans of Jr NTR gathered in huge numbers in Bengaluru on Sunday as the actor arrived to inaugurate a facility at KIMS Hospitals. His appearance sparked massive excitement, with hundreds of admirers assembling both inside and outside the hospital complex in hopes of catching a glimpse of the star.Reports said the enthusiasm soon turned chaotic after the actor reached the venue. Videos widely shared on social media captured fans cheering, shouting slogans, and trying to move closer to him despite security arrangements at the site.

As the crowd continued to grow, managing the situation became challenging for security staff and the local police. In the rush to enter the building and reach the spot where the actor was expected to appear, a large number of fans reportedly crowded onto an escalator inside the hospital complex. The excessive load and uncontrolled movement damaged the escalator, prompting authorities to temporarily close off that part of the building.Police deployed at the venue stepped in to regain control as the crowd pressed forward. According to reports, officers eventually carried out a mild lathi charge to disperse the fans and stabilise the situation. A security corridor was then formed to ensure that the actor could safely enter the hospital premises without further disturbance. The incident triggered mixed reactions from fans online, with several expressing concern about safety at such events. One wrote, “Why do such incidents mostly happen in the South? The level of fan frenzy is worrying. We’ve seen it at Vijay’s event in TN, Allu Arjun in Hyderabad, the RCB rally in Bangalore, and now this.” Another added, “This is the reason NTR always avoids public events, but I don’t know why he came to open the hospital.” A third comment read, “We never learn from the past, and we never grow.”Despite the commotion, Jr NTR remained composed and acknowledged the fans waiting outside. Dressed in a stylish outfit, he waved and greeted supporters before heading inside for the inauguration ceremony. His brief interaction with the crowd further heightened the excitement among those who had waited for hours to see him.Multiple videos of his arrival and the swelling crowd have since surfaced online. In some clips, fans can be seen rushing through the hospital lobby while security personnel attempt to control the situation. One fan also threw a flower at the actor, which he tossed back as a gesture of appreciation.Authorities are now reviewing what happened and assessing the security arrangements for the event, as the unexpectedly large turnout briefly disrupted the hospital’s inauguration proceedings.Jr NTR was last seen in the action thriller War 2, which released in August 2025 and featured him alongside Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani. The film marked his entry into Bollywood and drew attention for its large-scale action sequences.
