Fans of Jr NTR gathered in huge numbers in Bengaluru on Sunday as the actor arrived to inaugurate a facility at KIMS Hospitals. In the rush to enter the building and reach the spot where the actor was expected to appear, a large number of fans reportedly crowded onto an escalator inside the hospital complex. The excessive load and uncontrolled movement damaged the escalator, prompting authorities to temporarily close off that part of the building.Police deployed at the venue stepped in to regain control as the crowd pressed forward. According to reports, officers eventually carried out a mild lathi charge to disperse the fans and stabilise the situation. A security corridor was then formed to ensure that the actor could safely enter the hospital premises without further disturbance. The incident triggered mixed reactions from fans online, with several expressing concern about safety at such events. One wrote, “Why do such incidents mostly happen in the South? The level of fan frenzy is worrying.
