Jolly LLB 3 nets Rs 2 crore in Day 1 advance booking

Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi’s 'Jolly LLB 3' nets Rs 2 crore in Day 1 advance booking

Subhash Kapoor’s Jolly LLB became a hit. Now, Jolly LLB 3 is releasing on September 19. The trailer has generated excitement. The film stars Gajraj Rao, Huma Qureshi, and others. Advance booking is underway. It has already earned Rs 62.97 lakh. Akshay Kumar, after recent successes, will appear in Bhoot Bangla and Haiwaan.

When Subhash Kapoor teamed up with Arshad Warsi for Jolly LLB not many had enough expectations from it. The film went on to become a sleeper hit and its dialogues became part of pop culture. Its success made the team dream even bigger and that led to Akshay Kumar come on board for the second installment, many at that time claimed that Akshay had replaced Akshay but that was not the case. And for the third part- the makers brought together both Jollys . Jolly LLB 3 is slated to release on 19th September and its trailer release a few days ago has set the right expectations from the film. .The film features seasoned actors such as Gajraj Rao, Huma Qureshi, Amrita Rao, and Seema Biswas, each expected to bring depth and humor to the narrative. While the film is still 3 days away from release, its advance booking is opening in phases. Till now the film has earned Rs 62.97 lakh by selling over 19,000 tickets. Till yesterday the film had sold only 7000 tickets and today it has show a near three times jump which only goes on to show how the film is gaining traction among the audience. And by adding the block ticket sales, the overall collection of the film reaches Rs 2 crore mark. As of now the advance booking for the film has opened for over 3500 shows. At this rate the film is expected to take an opening of about Rs 10 crore but word of mouth can take the film beyond Rs 15 crore – thus making it the biggest opening of the series. Akshay who has struggled with his box office collection since the star of pandemic has returned to his winning way with the success of films like Kesari – Chapter 2 and Housefull 5 both films made a valuable contribution to the box office. He will be next seen in Priyadarshan’s Bhoot Bangla which is slated to release next year. He also recently completed the first schedule of Haiwaan again with Priyadarshan where he teamed up with Saif Ali Khan for the first time since Tashan. There are also rumours that the anticipated and much controversy stricken Hera Pheri 3 is also going to go on floor soon which will see Akshay coming back with Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal again.
