‘Jolly LLB 3’ box office collection day 7

'Jolly LLB 3' box office collection day 7: The Akshay Kumar, Arshad Warsi starrer crosses Rs 70 crore by the end of first week

Akshay Kumar, Arshad Warsi’s ‘Jolly LLB 3’ released on Friday and had a decent opening day number. The film is as such that more than a bumper opening, it was expected to see growth through positive word of mouth and that has happened. It saw growth on Saturday and went slightly better on Sunday. The best part was that there was an organic growth on Saturday, by more than 50 per cent. As always, the Monday dip was expected but it has managed to remain in the Rs 5 crore range. One expects the film to remain the same all through the week. But with Navratri days and ‘garba’ nights taking over the country, the film may get affected as people may not prefer flocking much to cinemas. The good part is, despite the dip on Monday, it saw growth on Tuesday and benefitted from the discounted ticket rates in most parts on that day. The Tuesday which is day 5 number is quite decent considering the ongoing Navratri festivities. The film made Rs 12.5 crore on day 1. On Saturday, it made Rs 20 crore and on Sunday it made Rs 21 crore. On Monday, it was expected that the movie will see a drop. It made Rs 5.5 crore on day 4. On tuesday, the collection according to Sacnilk is Rs 6.5 crore. On day 6 which is Wednesday, the film made Rs 4.5 crore which was a decline from the Tuesday numbers. Now on day 7, Thursday, it has made Rs 3.50 crore. With that, ‘Jolly LLB 3’ now completes a week at the box office. The total collection of the movie is now Rs 73.50 crore. The film’s box office has slowed down in Delhi/UP and East Punjab after a strong opening weekend. Initially, these two circuits seemed on track to deliver Akshay Kumar’s best post-pandemic numbers, likely boosted by the relevance of the farmers’ issue. However, the content hasn’t sustained audience interest as expected. Here’s how Jolly LLB 3 has fared over its first six days…Day wise collection of the film: Day 1 [1st Friday] ₹ 12.5 Cr -Day 2 [1st Saturday] ₹ 20 CrDay 3 [1st Sunday] ₹ 21 Cr Day 4 [1st Monday] ₹ 5.5 Cr Day 5 [1st Tuesday] ₹ 6.5 Cr Day 6 [1st Wednesday] ₹ 4.5 Cr Day 7 [1st Thursday] ₹ 3.50 Cr * early estimates -Total ₹ 73.50 Cr
