Jelly Roll drops a new selfie without his signature beard

Jelly Roll drops a new selfie without his signature beard: Is it AI?

Country music star Jelly Roll surprised fans by shaving off his signature beard for the first time in nearly a decade. He revealed his dramatically different, beardless look, prompting speculation about artificial intelligence. This transformation is part of his significant weight loss journey, having shed 200 pounds.

Country music star Jelly Roll made a big reveal last week. No, not another album drop, but something no one saw coming. He shaved off his famous beard! Yes, you read it right. He ditched his signature beard that had almost become synonymous with his public image. He shaved his beard for the first time in almost a decade. Now he has dropped a new image, showing off his jawline, and the internet — and the musician himself — is wondering whether it’s the work of artificial intelligence.

Is it AI or real?

On Wednesday, Nov. 26, Jelly Roll posted a new selfie on Instagram. The 40-year-old showed off his trimmed-down face. The selfie was accompanied by a caption: “AI is getting crazy these days,” he quipped. He wore a taupe shirt and black overalls, and looked dramatically different from his bearded persona. The short-hair, no-beard look, which was a part of his image — especially during his meteoric rise to fame — created a stark contrast. The new selfie is, however, part of Jelly Roll’s recent public transformation. Though the famous beard is no longer in the picture, his loyal fans and colleagues were surely glad about his transformation. Rapper Lil Wyte commented, “Broooooooooooooooooo you look incredible bub!!!” American rapper and record producer Juicy J dropped fire emojis lauding Jelly Roll’s transformation. An athlete commented, “So f**king happy for you brother. Whole team is doing it. 2026.” Beard or no beard, the internet is surely loving Jelly Roll, and his transformation has inspired many. Rapper Taylor Bennett said, “OMG YOU LOOK GREAT BROTHER!” “You look like a brand new man, Jelly!” another netizen said. People even commented that he looked like John Cena. “DEFINITELY AI,” another fan humourously wrote.

No-beard debut that broke the internet

Jelly Roll broke the internet earlier this week with his beardless debut. On Nov. 21, he posted a video of his look, and people had a hard time recognising him. The music star also revealed that he grew a beard as a ‘cover-up’. “Ah, what’s up y’all? By now you have probably figured out that I look like a ninja turtle. Um, yeah, this is crazy. One of the reasons I even started growing a beard was because I was so obese. It was just easier to cover up what was happening here, you know?” Jelly Roll said. His wife, Bunnie Xo, documented the entire transformation and posted it on Instagram. She was as excited as every single fan of his. “You guys, I have been with my husband for going on 10 years now and I have never seen this man without his facial hair. Not one freaking time,” she said in the video. Meanwhile, Jelly Roll revealed that he had “lost 200 pounds” in a video in August. The star has been quite vocal about his weight loss journey. Earlier in April, he revealed that he started at 540 pounds and is now 357 pounds. He also mentioned an adventure ride he wants to go on after losing 100 more. “Imma lose another 100 lbs… to go skydiving with my wife in Sweden, baby!” Go to Source
