Jacqueline set to make her full-fledged horror film debut

Jacqueline Fernandez set to make her full-fledged horror film debut, shoot to commence from late June 2026

Jacqueline Fernandez is reportedly set to star in her first ever out-and-out horror film, produced by Khyati Madaan’s Not Out Entertainment. A song and teaser have already been shot, with principal photography expected to begin by the end of this month. Jacqueline will next be seen in Welcome To The Jungle, releasing June 26, 2026.

Horror is one of the most popular genres among audiences right now. From Hollywood hits like ‘Obsession’, ‘Backrooms’ and ‘Sinners’ to Indian films like ‘Shaitaan’ and ‘Bramayugam’, the genre has been drawing huge crowds. The success of the recently released ‘Haunted 3D: Echoes of the Past’ has only added to the excitement around horror in India. Seeing how well the genre is performing, many actors are eager to be a part of it. Jacqueline Fernandez is reportedly the latest to take the plunge, with reports suggesting she is set to star in her very first horror film.

Jacqueline Fernandez was looking for the right horror script

According to Pinkvialla, Jacqueline was keen to explore the horror genre with the right script. It is a blend of horror, emotion, and music that excited her about this film. A song and a teaser have already been shot for the film, while the actors are currently busy in workshops. The principal photography for the film is expected to begin shortly, possibly by the end of this month.

Details about Jacqueline Fernandez’s horror film’s cast and director kept under wraps

Jacqueline will be the lead in this untitled film, and two male actors have already been signed to star alongside her. The names of the full cast and the director are not yet out. The film will be made on a big scale by Khyati Madaan’s Not Out Entertainment. An official announcement about the film is expected to come out soon.

Jacqueline Fernandez’s work front

For those who don’t know, Jacqueline has appeared in ‘Bhoot Police’ before, but that was a horror comedy and not a pure horror film. On the work front, she was last seen in ‘Housefull 5’ and will next be seen in ‘Welcome To The Jungle’, which is set to release on June 26, 2026.
