Jack O’Connell joins Emily Blunt in ‘A Quiet Place III’

<p> John Krasinski has officially revealed the cast of his upcoming horror sequel ‘A Quiet Place: Part III’. In a social media post, the director shared a photo of the film’s scripts featuring his casts’ names. While fans of the franchise will recognise some returning cast members, the director also introduced new faces to the mix. </p>

<p> In his post, director Krasinski revealed that Jack O’Connell, Jason Clarke and Katy O’Brian will join returning cast members  Emily Blunt,  Cillian Murphy, Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe in the third instalment of the popular franchise. “So proud to be a part of this A Quiet Place family… old and new! Here we go!” he captioned the post.  The announcement was made with the song ‘One Last Time’ from the musical Hamilton playing in the post. This sparked speculation that the third part may just be the final instalment in the sci-fi franchise. </p>
<p><h2> ‘A Quiet Place III’ cast</h2>

<p> The new of O’Connell’s casting, comes after his epic run in the horror genre. He most recently made waves for his performance as a Vampire in the Oscar-winning film ‘Sinners’. He also played a leading role in the ’28 Years Later’ series.  Meanwhile, O’Brian, who is also new to the cast, is known for her work in Kristen Stewart’s ‘Love Lies Bleeding’ and her performances in ‘Twisters’, ‘Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning’ and ‘The Running Man’. </p>
<p><h2> ‘A Quiet Place’ box office performance</h2>

<p> As per a Variety report, production on the film is expected to begin in Spring with Krasinski directing from his own screenplay. ‘A Quiet Place’ box office success in 2018, kicked off the film series with Blunt, Simmonds and Jupe in lead roles. Djimon Hounsou and Cillian Murphy joined the sequel, ‘A Quiet Place Part II’. The horror universe expanded with the 2024 prequel ‘A Quiet Place: Day One’, starring Lupita Nyong’o and Joseph Quinn. So far, the movies have grossed an estimated USD 900 million at the worldwide box office. </p>
