Is Deepika joining ‘The White Lotus’ Season 4?

Bollywood star Deepika Padukone may finally be checking herself into ‘The White Lotus’ in the upcoming Season 4.
Long after reports first claimed that the star would be joining BLACKPINK star LISA in ‘Season 3’ of the hit show, new reports now claim that she is set to join the cast for Season 4. If the reports are anything to go by, then DP will be headed to France, where Chateau de La Messardiere in Saint-Tropez has been selected as the central filming location. According to a report on Deccan Chronicle, Deepika will reportedly join the ensemble cast of the series that is reportedly eyeing a 2027 release. With HBO already confirming actors Helena Bonham Carter, Steve Coogan, Caleb Jonte Edwards, Marissa Long, Alexander Ludwig, Chris Messina and AJ Michalka and Sandra Bernhard, reports state that shooting for the series is scheduled to run from April to October 2026.
It must be noted that details regarding Padukone’s involvement remain speculative and have not yet been announced by the studio.
This isn’t the first time that Padukone has been rumoured to be joining the Emmy-winning series. She was previously rumoured to have been approached for Season 3 of the show, but reportedly declined the offer to focus on her pregnancy and newborn baby, Dua, who she shares with husband Ranveer Singh. Season 3 was filmed across Thailand, including Bangkok, Phuket and Koh Samui. At the time, reports suggested that while she bowed ouut of the instalment, there were high chances she would return to the franchise, in a future season.
While exact plot details remain under wraps, the series follows a new group of guests and hotel staff over the course of a week at a luxury resort. Created, written and directed by Mike White, ‘The White Lotus’ has also become a favourite at Hollywood’s awards season.

If Deepika bags a role in the series, she will be the second Bollywood star this year to announce a Hollywood venture. Last week, Farhan Akhtar announced his casting in ‘The Beatles’ film, where he will reportedly play the role of Ravi Shankar in the Sam Mendes directorial. Go to Source
