Inside Nupur Sanon-Stebin Ben’s Christian-Hindu wedding

Inside Nupur Sanon and Stebin Ben’s Christian-Hindu wedding: Emotional bridal entry, pheras, cocktail night and star-studded attendance

Actor-model Nupur Sanon, sister of Bollywood star Kriti Sanon, tied the knot with popular singer-songwriter Stebin Ben in a traditional Hindu wedding ceremony on Sunday at Raffles Udaipur. With this, the couple brought their lavish three-day wedding celebrations to a close in the City of Lakes.

A vibrant baraat and emotional bridal entry

The Hindu wedding began with a colourful baraat that set the tone for the day. “The Hindu phera ceremony began with a vibrant baraat, featuring nearly a hundred men holding traditional umbrellas. Stebin, joined by his friends, danced his way to the venue, turning the procession into a high-energy celebration,” a source who attended the wedding told HT City.Once the baraat reached the mandap, Nupur made an emotional bridal entry amid elaborate floral décor. The bride and groom wore custom-designed ensembles by Manish Malhotra, adding to the grandeur of the ceremony.

Pheras, fireworks and flower showers

The wedding rituals were conducted by Ankit Batra. After the pheras, a five-minute fireworks display lit up the Udaipur sky, followed by a shower of flowers that marked the end of the ceremony on a celebratory note. Several celebrities attended the wedding, including Dinesh Vijan, Raghav Sharma, Varun Sharma, Mouni Roy, Rohit Dhawan, Disha Patani, Tejasswi Prakash and Karan Kundrra, among others. The festivities continued late into the night with live performances by Sonu Nigam and Sukhbir, who kept guests on their feet.

Lavish spread and international cuisines

The culinary experience was equally grand, featuring an elaborate spread of multiple chicken and mutton delicacies, global desserts and international cuisines, including Japanese and Asian fare.

Christian wedding and cocktail night preceded Hindu ceremony

The Hindu wedding followed an intimate Christian ceremony held on Saturday. The white-themed sundowner saw Nupur and Stebin exchange vows in a dreamy setting. This was followed by a cocktail night with performances by B Praak, Sagar Bhatia and DJ Chetas. The celebrations had kicked off on Friday with a haldi ceremony and a boho-themed sangeet night.

Newlyweds share first pictures from Hindu wedding

After tying the knot on January 11, the couple shared pictures from their Catholic wedding before posting stunning visuals from their traditional Indian wedding on January 12. In one of the pictures, Kriti Sanon is seen holding Nupur’s traditional head ornament as Stebin applies vermilion, a moment that caught fans’ attention.Sharing the pictures in a joint social media post, Nupur and Stebin captioned it in Hindi, which translates to, “Tu Mere Kal Da. Sukoon, Te Aaj Da Sukoon!”Nupur looked radiant in a red lehenga with intricate gold embroidery, paired with a matching dupatta and floral garland. Stebin complemented her look in an ivory sherwani with a turban and a soft peach stole. Other pictures showed Nupur walking down the aisle as Stebin waited for her, and an intimate moment where the singer kissed his bride on the forehead.

A fairytale Christian wedding and engagement story

For the uninitiated, the couple had earlier said ‘I do’ at a Christian wedding in Udaipur on January 11. Nupur stunned in an off-shoulder white wedding gown, while Stebin looked dapper in an off-white tuxedo jacket with a black lapel and bow tie. Kriti Sanon was also part of the celebrations, seen twinning with the bridesmaids in a green off-shoulder dress.Nupur and Stebin had been dating for quite some time and made their relationship official earlier this month with a romantic engagement announcement. Stebin proposed on a beautifully decorated yacht, going down on one knee as performers held up “Will you marry me?” placards in the background. Sharing pictures from the proposal, Nupur wrote, “In a world full of maybes, I found the easiest YES I’ve ever had to say,” while flaunting her marquise-cut diamond engagement ring. Go to Source
