Sunita Ahuja recently welcomed viewers into her lavish Mumbai residence, revealing a home that perfectly balances luxury with spirituality. Estimated to be worth around Rs 16 crore, the house has been thoughtfully designed with Vastu Shastra at its core. From sacred corners and elegant interiors to handpicked décor collected from across the globe, every detail reflects the family’s personal touch.During her conversation with Mashable India, Sunita also shared that her children, Yashvardhan and Tina, played an active role in decorating the home, making it a true family project.

Sunita revealed that every section of the house has been planned according to Vastu principles, which she believes bring peace, prosperity and positive energy into their lives.The balcony, for instance, features two tulsi plants placed in opposite corners. One belongs to Sunita, while the other belongs to her daughter Tina. The same space also doubles up as her prayer corner, where she performs Surya Arghya every morning.The balcony further houses a Sai Baba idol, an angel-themed table decorated with miniature angel figurines and candles, an elephant sculpture, pyrite crystals and a large mirror, all positioned carefully in keeping with Vastu recommendations.
A living room designed with elegance and openness
Rather than filling the space with excessive décor, Sunita explained that the living room was designed to emphasise openness and comfort.Cream-toned panelled walls, wooden flooring and layered lighting create a warm atmosphere, while the furnishings add a touch of understated luxury. The room is decorated with souvenirs and artefacts collected by the family during their travels around the world.Among the standout pieces are Italian green and brown sofas paired with Versace candles and vintage-inspired lamps, lending the space a refined English-style aesthetic.
Personal touches reflect the family’s lifestyle
The living room also caters to the interests of every family member. One section is dedicated to her son Yashvardhan, complete with a large television, a PS5 gaming console and a punching bag.Another eye-catching feature is an emerald green wooden bar with functional shelving, which blends seamlessly with the room’s earthy colour palette.The home also includes a marble-top dining table where the Ahuja family gathers for meals and spends quality time together.
