Inside Farhan and Shibani’s Bandra bungalow – PICS

Inside Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar’s elegant, minimalist and modern Bandra bungalow - PICS

Farhan Akhtar and his wife Shibani Dandekar live in a stunning Mumbai bungalow that feels straight out of a design dream, calm, stylish, and full of personality. And when Farhan’s cousin, filmmaker Farah Khan, recently dropped in with her trusted cook Dilip, she didn’t just come for the food. She came for a full house tour and ended up calling their Bandstand home nothing less than an “Alishan (posh) bungalow”, and the tour clearly showed why. Here is a closer look at the space.

Home exterior shows a warm welcome

The tour starts with the outside view of the bungalow. The entrance has lots of plants, creating a fresh and soothing feel right from the start. A wood-panelled doorway adds charm, setting the mood for the stylish interiors that follow.

Interior décor highlights calm minimalism

Inside, the walls are done in cream-white, which makes the home look bright, open, and peaceful. This is balanced with dark-wood panelling, adding warmth and elegance. Although the colour palette is simple, the décor is full of life.

House ambience reflects brightness and comfort

One of the strongest features of their home is the flow of natural light. French-style windows and large open areas allow sunlight to brighten every corner. This not only lights up the space but also highlights the colours of the art and décor. Farhan welcomes Farah on the ground floor and then leads her to the upper level, which has some of the home’s most attractive areas like a home theatre built for perfect for movie nights, a lovely open spot designed like a gazebo, and a dining area. Large balconies allow warm daylight to spread across the interiors, keeping the whole home bright and airy.

Along with Farhan, the movie also stars Raashii Khanna, Ajinkya Ramesh Deo, Eijaz Khan, and Vivan Bhathena. The film is all set to release on November 21, 2025. Go to Source
