More about ‘Ikkis’

Directed by Sriram Raghavan, the film is a biopic of Arun Khetarpal, who laid down his life for the nation during the Indo-Pak War of 1971. The film’s title represents the age at which the Indian soldier was martyred. He was awarded the Paramvir Chakra, India’s highest gallantry honor, posthumously.Apart from Agastya Nanda and Dharmendra, the film also stars Jaideep Ahlawat, Simar Bhatia, Sikander Kher, Shree Bhishnoi, and Ekavali Khanna. The movie was supposed to release in theaters on December 25, 2025. However, makers shifted the date amidst the ‘Dhurandhar’ wave at the box office. Producer Dinesh Vijan had expressed that the movie, like ‘Ikkis’, deserves a solo release. And hence, it arrived in theaters on January 1, 2026. Go to Source
