After a promising debut and positive audience feedback, the film collected approximately Rs 39 lakhs on its 14th day, totaling an impressive Rs 49.19 crore in net revenue across India.
Dhanush’s ‘Idli Kadai’, which began its theatrical run with strong word-of-mouth and impressive collections, has seen a steady decline in numbers as it enters the end of its second week.Reportedly, on its 14th day, the film earned an estimated Rs 39 lakhs across all languages. This has resulted in bringing its total India net collection to Rs 49.19 crore. According to early trade reports by the Sacnilk website, the Tamil version continues to lead the numbers.
Occupancy and regional performance
On Tuesday (October 13), ‘Idli Kadai’ recorded an overall Tamil occupancy of 16.26%, with morning shows reporting 12.50% and night shows improving slightly to 18.50%. The film’s first-week earnings stood at Rs 44.25 crore, majorly contributed by the Tamil version (Rs 41.1 crore).

Directed by Dhanush himself, ‘Idli Kadai’ features a strong cast including Nithya Menen, Arun Vijay, Sathyaraj, Shalini Pandey, and Rajkiran.
