Hrithik Roshan recently shared a deeply personal note on fatherhood while posting a throwback picture with his sons Hrehaan Roshan and Hridhaan Roshan. The photo shows the trio soaking up the sun on a yacht, but it was Hrithik’s long caption that struck a chord with fans online.Sharing the post, Hrithik wrote, “Man it’s so much fun to see your kids shine. Caught myself thinking how proud I am as a father. For the men they are growing into, their talents, accomplishments, their work ethic, humility, full-chested pride.”However, the actor went on to reflect on how pride can sometimes become tied to achievement and expectations.“Then it struck me, how pride always implicates accomplishment. Starts that very vicious cycle of I am loved if I perform. And slowly pride that tricksy fellow starts masquerading as ‘Love’,” he wrote.Hrithik added that his love for his children goes far beyond their achievements.“No matter how great my pride is, it cannot for a second compete with my love for you. For just the way you are. You are here. You are enough. You are wanted. You belong. That’s it.”Encouraging his sons to embrace every experience in life, the actor further wrote, “Now by all means go build, explore everything — success (you decide the definition), aim for success at everything even at the art of doing nothing. And failure… in fact I hope you have spectacular failures.”He added that life is ultimately about embracing emotions and experiences rather than chasing victories.“Because that’s the only real pursuit. The human experience. Not meaning. Not winning. Not arriving. But experiencing,” Hrithik shared, before concluding the post with a reminder: “Love came first. Always.”
