Here’s why Tanishaa says she would not give Ajay credit

Here's why Tanishaa Mukerji says she would not give Ajay Devgn credit for Yug’s upbringing but calls Kajol 'an outstanding mother'

Actress Tanishaa Mukerji recently opened up about her close bond with sister Kajol and brother-in-law Ajay Devgn, along with her thoughts on their children, Nysa Devgan and Yug Devgan. In her media interaction, when asked about Yug’s upbringing, Tanishaa was quick to give full credit to her sister.

Why doesn’t she give credit to Ajay Devgn? Tanisha confesses to being biased

While the ‘Kaal’ actor Ajay has often been praised as a dedicated father, Tanishaa insisted her sister deserves all the acknowledgment for Yug’s upbringing. She called Kajol the “best mother in the world.” Tanishaa made it clear that her bias comes from her own lived experience.

Kajol turns 51: Ajay Devgn, Nysa, celebs & fans pour in heartfelt wishes

“He is a very well-brought-up boy, and I give it all to my sister. Mai toh biased hu toh mai Ajay (Ajay Devgn) ko koi credit nahi dungi. All credit to my sister. She is an outstanding mother. She is the best mother in the world. I know because I felt it. She was my mother a lot of the time,” she told Pinkvilla.

Tanishaa on being an ‘uncool’ aunt now

The conversation also drifted toward Tanishaa’s relationship with her nieces and nephews. She admitted that as they grew older, her dynamic with them shifted. “We are not cool. We stopped being cool the moment they became teenagers. Until they turn 35, we will just have to accept that we are uncool. Maybe after 35, they’ll start calling me again, giving hugs, and wanting to be around me. For now, for the next 15-20 years, forget it. I’ve forgotten; all my nieces and nephews have become teenagers. It’s very scary.”
