Singer-turned-actor Guru Randhawa was never overweight. In 2020, he decided to give himself a makeover. While speaking to Bombay Times, he called 2020 the ‘year of transformation’ for him. Though the lockdown did disrupt his plans as well, he got time to concentrate more on his original music and himself.

Further, in another old interaction with us, Guru revealed the meaning of fitness for him. Guru Randhawa’s fitness routine

“I love working on each and every body part. Once you start training with a personal trainer, they work on every part of your body. They understand your body and accordingly work out a plan for each body part, so when you are standing, performing, acting, or anything, your body looks in shape from all sides. So I enjoy working on all (body parts),” said Guru Randhawa while speaking in detail about his fitness mantra with us.This highlights that Guru Randhawa’s approach was focused on overall body transformation. The results of the same were rewarding, not just for him, but also for his fans, who drooled over his toned physique.

Guru Randhawa’s diet

In 2017, Guru had shared another secret with us when he confessed to being a ‘foodie’. However, he also mentioned that he tries to eat less than his actual hunger. Further, during the same conversation, he said he maintains his diet by choosing “The right oil! I make sure to eat dishes made in olive oil, whether virgin or extra virgin, the dish has to be made in olive oil. I believe it’s the healthiest oil that you can consume to stay fit.”Highlighting that he loves to consume a healthy diet, he shared things one can always find in his fridge – “Green vegetables, fruits such as apples, grapes, and bananas; also, I am a big fan of fruit juices, especially Guava juice.”The fitness mantra of Guru Randhawa mentions two things: Eating right and exercising with the focus to work on the overall body. These two simple steps with a dash of discipline can do wonders!
