Hema Malini reaches hospital to be with ailing Dharmendra

False reports of veteran actor Dharmendra’s passing circulated widely, causing distress. His wife, Hema Malini, publicly refuted the rumors, emphasizing his recovery and the family’s need for privacy. Several Bollywood stars visited the hospital, offering support to the Deol family amidst the unfounded speculation. Dharmendra’s recent and upcoming film projects were also highlighted.

A tense morning has unfolded in Mumbai when the word began doing the rounds that Bollywood legend Dharmendra has passed away. The reports, widely shared across social media and messaging groups, claimed that the 89-year-old actor had passed away after being placed on a ventilator at the hospital earlier this week, many prominent figures like Rajnath Singh, Javed Akhtar shared their condolences on social media but later deleted their tweets. Amid the frenzy, his wife and veteran actress Hema Malini arrived at the hospital today to be with the family. Before reaching the hospital she took to social media to deny the news of his passing away, on X ( formerly Twitter) she wrote , “ What is happening is unforgivable! How can responsible channels spread false news about a person who is responding to treatment and is recovering? This is being extremely disrespectful and irresponsible. Please give due respect to the family and its need for privacy.” In the past 24 hours several prominent names from the film fraternity were spotted at the hospital. From Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan to Govinda, the visitors streamed in, offering support to the Deol family .Dharam ji as he is fondly called in the industry was last seen in Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani and Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon’s Teri Baaton Mein Uljha Jiya.
