Marking the fourth and last collaboration, the father and son duo – David Dhawan and Varun Dhawan, ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’ was released on June 5, 2026. The film is enjoying its second week run at the box office. Packed with comedy and chaos, it has resonated with the audience. Coming to the box office scorecard of the film, it opened with an impressive number and had a great first weekend. There was an expected drop on the weekdays, but the second weekend again gave a boost to the numbers. Currently, with the attempt to maintain its pace, the Varun Dhawan, Mrunal Thakur, and Pooja Hegde starrer has minted over Rs 70 crore worldwide. ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’ collection has remained the same on days 11 and 12, i.e., its second Monday and Tuesday. Across 2969 shows, on Tuesday, the film minted Rs 1.35 crore, according to Sacnilk. This brings the gross total of the comedy drama in India to Rs 56.35 crore, and the domestic net collection to Rs 47.50 crore mark so far. The film has been keeping the box office register ringing in the international market as well. Day 12 recorded Rs 0.15 crore earnings, bringing the gross collection to Rs 13.90 crore. With this, the total worldwide gross earnings of ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’ stand at Rs 70.25 crore.
