‘Gustaakh Ishq’, starring Vijay Varma, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Naseeruddin Shah, and Sharib Hashmi, has hit theaters today on November 28, 2025. The trailer of the film received a lot of appreciation and love from the audience. Now, a report about the movie’s OTT release after its theatrical run has surfaced on the internet. ‘Gustaakh Ishq’ OTT partner

According to the OTT Play report, ‘Gustaakh Ishq’ will be out for streaming four to eight weeks after its release. The report further stated that the makers have sealed a deal with JioHotstar for its digital debut. The amount at which the platform bought the streaming rights has not yet come out as of now.Reportedly, if the movie follows the rules of the OTT release window, then it will land up on the platform by the end of December 2025 or the end of January 2026. The makers will be dropping the official annoucement soon.

The romantic drama revolves around a young man who falls in love with the daughter of his poetry teacher, who is quite old. The film showcases how their love story blossoms through poetry. The misunderstanding, unspoken feelings, and doubts challenge their love for each other. The movie has been set against the backdrop of old Delhi and the state of Punjab. At the end, trapped between love and honoring his mentor, he must make a decision that will affect his life forever.The film was announced in April 2025. Directed by Vibhu Puri of the ‘Hawaizaada’ fame, the film was released in theaters on November 28, 2025. Earlier, it premiered at the International Film Festival of India on November 24, which was held in Goa.Meanwhile, this marked the debut of fashion designer Manish Malhotra as a movie producer.
