Gurinder Chadha appreciated Priyanka Chopra

Chadha wrote a heartfelt note on her social media, mentioning how Chopra picked up the call and agreed to collaborate instantly. “This is @priyankachopra for you. One call to support the movie, and she was in. Always ready to support filmmakers from our community. Using her platform and her voice (in this case even the singing one) in support of my vision. Thank you for supporting me always Pri,” she said, after posting the music video of the reimagined version of the song by George Michael.

About ‘Christmas Karma’

Directed by Chadha, the song belongs to the film ‘Christmas Karma,’ starring Kunal Nayyar, Danny Dyer, Chaithra Chandran, Boy George, Billy Porter, Eva Longoria, and many more. Based on ‘A Christmas Carol’ by Charles Dickens, the plot revolves around the ghosts of the past, present, and future meeting Scrooge to change him for the better, giving the perfect feel-good experience of the year. Priyanka Chopra and the song

Meanwhile, Chopra held the mic to sing nearly after a decade of giving banger anthems like ‘Dil Dhadakne Do,’ ‘I Can’t Make You Love Me,’ ‘Exotic,’ Chaoro,’ and more. “Gurinder Chadha is a dear friend and I am so happy to support her in my little way in ‘Christmas Karma,’ she said about the collaboration, according to PTI, before adding, “I hope this desi twist to a song that has long been the soundtrack of Christmas for so many of us, resonates with audiences.” Go to Source
