Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali is embroiled in a new controversy after a First Information Report (FIR) was lodged against him and two others in Bikaner, Rajasthan. According to the report, the complaint was filed by Prateek Raj Mathur, a line producer who alleges fraud, misbehavior, and breach of trust related to the production of Bhansali’s upcoming film, ‘Love & War’. According to PTI, Circle Officer (Bikaner Sadar) Vishal Jangid stated that the complaint claims that Mathur was initially given a contract as a line producer for the film, which was later canceled without payment. Mathur has accused Bhansali and two of his team members, Arvind Gill and Utkarsh Bali, of removing him from the project after he had already fulfilled a significant part of his duties.The FIR, which was registered at the Bichhwal police station on Monday, includes charges of fraud, criminal conspiracy, and criminal intimidation.Mathur further alleged that he had made all the necessary arrangements for the film’s shoot, including coordinating with various government departments. However, his complaint states that when he went to meet the film team at a hotel, Bhansali and others allegedly misbehaved with him.
Investigation underway for Bhansali’s ‘Love & War’
The report further stated that Bichhwal SHO Govind Singh Charan has been assigned to investigate the matter. The police will be looking into the allegations and gathering statements from all parties involved to determine the next course of action.
