Karisma Kapoor’s ex-husband Sunjay Kapoor passed away on June 12 this year. But after his sudden demise, there’s an internal family feud with regards to his will now. Karisma’s children Samaira and Kiaan have filed a plea at the Delhi High Court alleging that Sunjay’s widowed wife Priya Sachdev seems to have forged his will. On Wednesday, the court took up the plea from Karisma’s children seeking a share in their father’s estate. Now amidst the ongoing case, senior advocate Vaibhav Gaggar has spoken on the issue on behalf of Sunjay’s mother Rani Kapur. He said that the real fight is between Karisma and Priya. Gaggar told ANI, “This fight is really more between Karisma Kapoor and Priya Sachdev — whether there is a will or there is no will etc. Rani Kapur does get impacted by it but she will file a response and you will know her stand.”
He added, “Rani Kapur has been made defendant number 3 in her capacity as a class 1 heir of Sanjay Kapur…Now that the matters are coming to court, it would not be appropriate for me to give any further comments. But Mrs Kapur has been quite unequivocal in what her stand has been. It remains the same.”
