Farah Khan says Twinkle Khanna made her cry on the set

Farah Khan says Twinkle Khanna made her cry, the latter says that's why she became a star: 'I had Bhumi and Ananya doing Ankhiyon Se Goli Maare'

Ace choreographer turned director Farah Khan, who has found a fresh following through her candid YouTube vlogs, recently appeared on Twinkle Khanna and Kajol’s Amazon Prime talk show, Two Much With Twinkle Khanna And Kajol. The celebrated choreographer, behind some of Indian cinema’s most iconic dance number, emains just as famous for her fierce perfectionism on set. Ananya Panday accompanied her on the show, who recalled a rather emotional encounter with Farah during the making of one of her films.“Whichever heroine I push to tears, they become big stars,” Farah quipped proudly as Ananya admitted she had cried on the sets of ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’. Jumping in, Twinkle teased, “You made me cry, I never became a big star.” Without missing a beat, Farah replied, “Because you didn’t cry, you made me cry.” Twinkle laughed, conceding, “I made you cry, and you became a big star.” “Exactly, you did the opposite,” Farah responded, nodding. Twinkle, keeping up the banter, added, “All your YouTube glory is because of me.” To which Farah playfully agreed, “All because of you.”Talking about the experience on ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’, which also starred Kartik Aaryan and Bhumi Pednekar, Farah shared, “I shot one song for ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’ where I made her cry. I mean, I have choreographed both of you all (Kajol and Twinkle), you all were too good, but I had Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Panday doing ‘Ankhiyon Se Goli Maare.’ And by the end of it, they were dancing, and I said, ‘Both of you need IV drips, one from Nanavati Hospital and one from Lilavati Hospital.’”Ananya added with a laugh, “I thought I had grown up in front of her, she would be very nice to me. So I was fully confident. But then I left the set in tears.”The episode wasn’t all light-hearted. Farah also opened up about a disturbing experience from her early days, involving a director who made unwanted advances. “He came into my room to discuss a song or something while I was in bed, and he sat next to me. I had to kick him from there,” she revealed. Twinkle backed up the story, saying, “He was after her, no matter what. She had to physically kick him. This happened. I was the witness.” Go to Source
