Fans question if it’s the real Wankhede

Social media users were quick to notice something odd about Wankhede’s appearance in the viral clip, sparking debate over whether it showed the real officer or an actor playing his lookalike in Aryan Khan’s Netflix series. The video featured Wankhede and his wife, Kranti Redkar, at a temple, with her caption reading, “God please let him smile in all the pictures.”

Netizens react to the viral clip

As soon as the vidoe started doing the rounds, comments poured in from all sides. While one user wrote, ‘He’s from Bads of Bollywood. Lol,’ another one added, ‘Isse kahi to dekha hai.’ Another mentioned, ‘Your cameo was great.’ One more added, ‘Bro’s favourite Netflix show is Bads of Bollywood.’

Wankhede files defamation case

Meanwhile, Wankhede has filed a defamation case against Aryan and Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan’s company, Red Chillies Entertainment. He alleged that the makers of The Ba***ds of Bollywood tried to tarnish his image and mock anti-drug agencies through the show. When the officer served as the NCB zonal director, he arrested Aryan in a drug case. Aryan spent nearly a month in jail before being granted bail, and was later cleared of all charges. After the case concluded, Wankhede was transferred from the NCB to the Revenue Department. Go to Source
