Fans notice Sydney Sweeney’s absence from ‘Euphoria’ promo pic

'Euphoria’ Season 3 teaser: Fans react to Sydney Sweeney’s exclusion from group cast clip

Fans are in a frenzy over the minimal spotlight on Sydney Sweeney in the promotional materials for ‘Euphoria’ Season 3, leading to wild speculation about a possible rift with co-star Zendaya. Despite her notable absence in early clips, TMZ has reported that Sweeney’s limited visibility is not due to any behind-the-scenes drama, but rather her busy filming schedule.

‘Euphoria’ Season 3 is right around the corner, and the official promotions for the latest season have begun! While fans had been waiting for the latest season for years, the arrival and confirmation caused a lot of excitement. However, as the photos and videos of the latest promo campaign are circulating around, many were quick to notice that Sydney Sweeney was not as involved as others in the media material. This comes after rumors of a fallout with co-star Zendaya started spreading online.

Sydney Sweeney is missing from the promo material for ‘Euphoria’ Season 3

Taking to the TV show’s official social media pages, the team shared photos and videos from their first promotional campaign. In one of the videos, while Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Alexa Demie, and Maude Apatow were featured on one screen, Sweeney was nowhere to be seen.

Her clip was later added as a solo part in the video, which fueled rumors that this may have been due to the alleged issues between Zendaya and the ‘Anyone But You’ co-star. The video was shared along with the caption, “Taking the smallest moments and dreaming them up into something bigger. #Euphoria.”However, as per a report published by TMZ, the reason is not because of the alleged feud. The report stated that Sweeney was not a part of the group video due to the fact that she was filming one of her scenes in the series at the time.

About Zendaya and Sydney Sweeney’s alleged feud

Earlier in November last year, The Daily Mail had reported that there had been an ongoing feud between the ‘Spiderman’ star and Sweeney. They had reported that due to differing political views, the two co-stars were not on the best of terms with one another. As per the reports, the two allegedly refused to do any press shoots together and had also refused to stand next to one another during public events. There have been no comments about the alleged feud from either of the artists.

About ‘Euphoria’ Season 3

While the first two seasons of the show were centered around the cast’s lives and issues around high school, this season is completely different. As per the trailer, the main cast, which includes Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Hunter Schafer, Alexa Demie, and Maude Apatow, along with many others, moves away from the high school setting and transitions into adulthood. In the trailer, Rue ends up in Mexico, indebted to drug dealer Laurie, while Sweeney’s character, Cassie, marries Nate and the two settle down in the suburbs. All of the other characters are also shown in the trailer in glimpses, keeping up the mystery of where they all land in their early 20s. The third season of ‘Euphoria’ will air on HBO and Max on April 12. Fans will be able to stream the episodes directly on the OTT platform. Go to Source
