‘Devdas’ re-release: Fans celebrate Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan’s birthdays watching the Sanjay Leela Bhansali classic; say ‘Their chemistry is UNMATCHED”Devdas’ returned to theatres this weekend and fans couldn’t have asked for better timing as they gathered in cinema halls across the country to celebrate the birthdays of Bollywood superstars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan.

Fans celebrate Ash and SRK’s birthdays in theatres

The Sanjay Leela Bhansali epic, which released in 2002, returned to cinemas as part of an SRK movie festival to celebrate the actor’s 60th birthday on November 2. As Ash celebrates her birthday today, November 1, fans of the two, could not help but gush about the ‘perfect’ double celebration.

Fans on reliving the magic of Devdas

Fans flocked to cinema halls across to take a walk down memory lane and relive the magic of the movies. They later took to their social media handles to share, “What better than celebrating Aishwarya Rai’s birthday watching Devdas And srk-aish chemistry… issshhhh!!!””Watched DEVDAS on big screen!!!!! how can I get over it now,” asked another while sharing images of the stars on the big screen.Cheering for the on-screen couple, another said, “Their chemistry is UNMATCHED!!!!!” The film, which also starred Madhuri Dixit as Chandramukhi, remains one of Bollywood’s most epic romance dramas.In other news, an OTT giant on Saturday announced their plans to release a curated line-up of SRK films to mark his 60th birthday. Nine of his most memorable films including “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge”, “Mohabbatein”, “Dil To Pagal Hai”, “Veer-Zaara” and “Chak De! India”, will begin streaming online.
