Rishab Shetty reveals ‘Kantara: Chapter 1’ was edited in his village
In an interview with India Today, Rishab Shetty opened up about the making of the movie. He shared, “Even 90 percent of the post-production work was done there (his native village).”The actor-director added that his team visited Bengaluru and Kochi just “to finalize things.” Not just that, Shetty revealed that they brought the music director to his village and set up a recording studio for him. He said, “Around 90 percent of the film’s editing was also done in the village.”In the same interview, the actor stated that the villagers were fully prepared for the same, “especially those of my hometown, Kundapura.” Rishab added that his native place has now turned into a “kind of film town or film village.” The filmmaker went on to reveal that, during the shoot, every day at least 100 vehicles were involved, as almost 1000 people were on set daily.
