Tamil version dominates collections

The Tamil version led the collections as it contributed the majority of the revenue throughout the week. On Thursday, October 23, the film recorded an overall Tamil occupancy of 18.35%. The evening shows performed better than morning ones. The Telugu version, meanwhile, maintained a moderate 12.63% occupancy.
Steady hold despite midweek drop
Though the film saw a noticeable drop in collections midweek — from Rs 10.8 crore on Monday to Rs 4 crore on Wednesday — its strong opening weekend helped stabilize its first-week total.
About ‘Dude’
Featuring Pradeep Ranganathan, Mamitha Baiju, R. Sarathkumar, Rohini, and Hridhu Haroon in pivotal roles, Dude revolves around the bond between two cousins, Agan and Kural, whose relationship takes a complicated turn when one develops feelings for the other. ETimes review for the film reads, “Debutant Keerthiswaran’s Dude is a rare mainstream hero-elevation film which addresses a relevant real-world issue convincingly. The film tackles the subject with humour but without being insensitive about it. That’s one of the many perks of this fast-paced film. It also benefits from sharp editing. The film is cut in a way to not make you feel any lag, as there’s always something or other happening on screen to keep you hooked.”DISCLAIMER: The box office numbers in this article are compiled from our proprietary sources and diverse public data.
