'Drishyam 3' box office collections day 21: Mohanlal film nears end of third week strongly; Collects Rs 236.59 Cr worldwide

Mohanlal-starrer ‘Drishyam 3’ continued its theatrical run with stable numbers despite witnessing a slight decline in collections on its 21st day. The suspense thriller has remained one of the strongest Malayalam performers of the year.According to Sacnilk, the film earned Rs 37 lakhs net in India on Day 21. The collection came from 705 shows across various territories. Compared to the Rs 40 lakhs net collected on Day 20, the latest figure shows a 7.5% drop.

India net collection crosses Rs 107 crore

‘Drishyam 3’ has taken its total India net collection to Rs 107.70 crore. The film’s India gross collection has now reached Rs 124.94 crore.The movie enjoyed a remarkable first week by collecting Rs 81.95 crore. It continued its strong momentum in the second week and added another Rs 20.68 crore.

Overseas market drives worldwide success

On Day 21, ‘Drishyam 3’ added Rs 5 lakhs from international territories. This pushed the film’s overseas gross collection to an impressive Rs 111.65 crore. The worldwide gross collection now stands at Rs 236.59 crore.

Occupancy levels

The Malayalam version registered an overall occupancy of 8.30% on Day 21. Morning shows recorded 5.80% occupancy. Afternoon shows improved slightly to 6.90%. Evening occupancy stood at 7.10%, while night shows closed at 8.00%.The Malayalam version contributed Rs 36 lakhs to the day’s collection from 694 shows. The Telugu version added Rs 1 lakh from 11 shows and recorded 14% occupancy.Kerala remained the film’s strongest market on Day 21. The state contributed Rs 40 lakhs. Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh-Telangana each added Rs 1 lakh gross. The total gross collection for the day stood at Rs 43 lakhs.’Drishyam 3′ follows Georgekutty as he faces his toughest challenge yet.
