'Drishyam 3' advance booking: Mohanlal, Jeethu Joseph thriller crosses Rs 10 crore worldwide

‘Drishyam 3’, directed by Jeethu Joseph and headlined by Mohanlal is seeing a strong response ahead of its theatrical release. The much-awaited Malayalam crime thriller has generated significant momentum in advance bookings across domestic and international markets.

Rs 10 crore pre-sales update for ‘Drishyam 3’

According to industry tracker AB George, the film’s worldwide advance bookings have crossed Rs 10 crore and are continuing to rise.The Tweet read, “Drishyam3 worldwide presales 10+ Crores & counting Last week kathikkal begins today.” The film is expected to post one of the biggest opening weekends for a Malayalam release in recent years if the current trend continues.

Georgekutty returns with familiar faces

The upcoming film serves as the third installment in one of Indian cinema’s most acclaimed thriller franchises. The story continues the journey of Georgekutty and his family after the events of ‘Drishyam’ and ‘Drishyam 2’.Alongside Mohanlal, the cast includes Meena, Ansiba Hassan, Esther Anil, Siddique, Asha Sharath, Murali Gopy, and Veena Nandakumar.

Behind-the-scenes video of ‘Drishyam 3’

The makers recently released a behind-the-scenes video that offers a closer look at the production of the thriller. Mohanlal shared the clip on X and wrote, “#Drishyam3 – Behind The Scenes Worldwide Release | May 21st 2026.”

Hindi version of ‘Drishyam 3’ set for October 2 release

Hindi ‘Drishyam 3’ producers Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak recently discussed the Hindi adaptation starring Ajay Devgn. Speaking to ANI, Kumar Mangat Pathak said, “When the lockdown started, we watched a lot of Malayalam films. We realised that the content there is very good. Different types of films are being made and appreciated there.” Abhishek Pathak also confirmed the release window for the Hindi version. He said, “‘Drishyam 3’ will be released on October 2.”While the Hindi adaptation is targeting a later release, the Malayalam original is set to arrive in theatres worldwide on May 21. Go to Source
