Bollywood’s power couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone made a rare public appearance together on Wednesday, as they offered prayers to Lord Ganesha during Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations in Mumbai. The duo, known for keeping up with tradition, dressed their best in matching silk outfits as they offered prayers and sought blessings of lord Ganesha. A video doing the rounds online sees the couple bowing their heads in prayer and showering flower petals at the idol’s feet.

Twinning and winning

While Deepika looked radiant in a traditional salwar suit, Ranveer, known for his flamboyant style, kept it simple in ethnic attire, twinning with his wife in shades of brown and gold. However, it was Ranveer’s clean new look that set tongues wagging.

Ranveer’s new look for Don 3?

The actor, who had been sporting a rugged beard for his upcoming film ‘Dhurandhar’, debuted a clean-shaven avatar and a short hairstyle that immediately had fans swooning over his boyish charms. The new look also seemed to spark intrigue about the actor’s next big venture ‘Don 3’ which will reportedly see him taking on the mantle in the Farhan Akhtar directorial. Much has been said and written about the film, including the recasting of the female lead. However, despite contrasting reports online, no official statement has been announced.

‘Dhurandhar’ release

As far as the actor’s upcoming films are concerned, he wrapped portions of ‘Dhurandhar’, co-starring R. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt and others. The film’s first look is set to drop on the big screen tomorrow with the release of the Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor starrer ‘Param Sundari’.Directed by National Award-winner Aditya Dhar, the film releases theatrically on 5 December 2025.

Deepika working on AA22xA6

Deepika, on the other hand, is working on director Atlee’s upcoming film, tentatively titled AA22xA6, which also stars Allu Arjun in the lead.

On the personal front

The couple most recently hit the headlines over the weekend when photos and videos of their daughter Dua Padukone Singh took social media by storm. Fans of the stars soon sprang into action and condemned the sharing of the toddler’s photos without DP or Ranveer’s consent. Go to Source
