‘Avengers: Doomsday’ may still be a year away from its big release, but rumour has it that fans of the big-ticket Marvel film may not have to wait until 2026 to catch a first glimpse at the next Avengers saga.
‘Doomsday’ trailer to arrive with ‘Fire and Ash’
According to Collider, the first trailer of ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ is expected to arrive in just a few weeks. It will reportedly be released on December 19, as it will be attached to screenings of James Cameron’s upcoming epic ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’.While there is room for plans to still change, however, if confirmed, fans will get their first glimpse of Robert Downey Jr’s return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, this time, not as the hero we all love, but as the mysterious new supervillain – Doctor Victor Von Doom.

If there is any truth to the rumours, then the film’s trailer will arrive exactly a year before the movie hits the big screens on December 18, 2026.
Next chapter in MCU
The next chapter in the ‘Avengers’ saga, follows the events of the ‘Deadpool 3’, ‘Thunderbolts’ and ‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’. Although details about the film has been kept under wraps, actor Alan Cumming’s role as Nightcrawler, Kelsey Grammer as Beast and many other X-Men stars have been confirmed to be playing important roles in the upcoming film. If the plan goes through, then it would be a full circle of sorts as ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’ trailer first premiered ahead of ‘The Fantastic Four’.
Spider-Man trailer buzz
Adding to the excitement, Trailer Track has also reported rumours of the possibility of Tom Holland’s ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ trailer hitting the big screens this December. While early rumours suggested that the trailer will screen with ‘Fire and Ash’, reports state that it is highly unlikely that both Marvel film trailers will screen together.
