Dimple Hayathi in legal trouble: Domestic help files complaint

Legal action has now been taken against film actress Dimple Hayati and her husband, David. A complaint has been filed against them by a domestic worker. Priyanka Bibar, a 22-year-old woman from the Rayagada district of Odisha, had been working at Westwood Apartments in Shaikpet, Hyderabad, where the actress has been living since September 22nd.

Priyanka accuses Dimple Hayati and David of denying food

As per NDTC, in her complaint to the police, Priyanka Bibar alleged that she was constantly harassed and insulted. She also said that she was not given adequate food and was often subjected to verbal abuse and insulting remarks. She also explained that he scolded her, saying, “Your life is not worth my shoes.”

A heated dog-related dispute led to threats

Priyanka Bibar says the situation reached its peak on the morning of September 29th. That day, an argument broke out because the dog in the house was barking. At that time, both the actress and David allegedly cursed her with obscene words and threatened to kill her parents. Priyanka said that when she tried to record the moment on her cell phone, David snatched her phone, smashed it on the ground, and tried to attack her.

Police register the case under multiple sections

Priyanka Bibar said her clothes were torn, but she managed to escape. She later filed a complaint with the police with the help of her agent. Based on her statement, the Film Nagar police have registered a case against Dimple Hayathi and David under sections 74, 79, 351(2), and 324(2) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
