Did Nicola Peltz Beckham take a dig at The Beckhams?

Nicola Peltz Beckham's cryptic post goes viral amid Beckham family feud: Here’s what we know

Nicola Peltz Beckham set off a wave of speculation this week after dropping a cryptic post on Instagram, just days before her husband, Brooklyn Beckham, unleashed a public feud with his parents, David and Victoria Beckham. Brooklyn’s Instagram rant accused his parents of sabotaging his marriage with Nicola and revealed some long-standing resentment that’s apparently been brewing for years. In the middle of all this, Nicola’s quiet but pointed post got people talking. Was she picking a side? Sending a message?

Nicola Peltz Beckham’s cryptic post: What was it?

So, what did Nicola actually post? A few days before Brooklyn’s big outburst, she shared a mirror selfie on her Instagram Stories. Nothing flashy, just her reflection and a tattoo on her ribcage in Yiddish. As per Page Six, it translates to “family first.” The timing got everyone’s attention. Rumors about her being at odds with the Beckhams have been swirling, so the simple image didn’t go unnoticed. She didn’t mention the drama at all, but plenty of people read the tattoo as a quiet statement, as the post kept the rumor mill churning.

The Beckham family feud: All about the ‘Bexit’

This Beckham family feud isn’t exactly new, but things really blew up recently when Brooklyn posted a string of messages on Instagram, accusing his parents of trying to “ruin” his marriage to Nicola. He said the problems started before their April 2022 wedding and never really stopped. According to Brooklyn, his parents pressured him to sign away rights to his own name before the wedding — he saw it as an attempt to control his life and career. He also claimed his mom bailed on designing Nicola’s wedding dress at the last minute, leaving Nicola scrambling for a replacement. That, he said, was just the start of the tension.Brooklyn didn’t hold back. He said his mom “hijacked” his first dance with Nicola at the wedding, leaving him embarrassed in front of their guests. And he went even further, accusing his parents of putting their brand and public image above actual family relationships. “Brand Beckham comes first,” he wrote. “Family ‘love’ is decided by how much you post on social media, or how quickly you drop everything to show up and pose for a family photo.” He made it clear he’s done trying to fix things. “I do not want to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life,” he said. Brooklyn also explained that he’d tried to keep the family drama private, but his parents continued to go to the press, so he felt forced to speak up.On the other hand, David Beckham chimed in the next day. On January 20, while talking about social media and mental health on CNBC’s ‘Squawk Box’, he admitted his kids have “made mistakes.” David pointed out that social media is a powerful thing— for better or worse. He said it can be dangerous for kids, but he’s also used his platform for good causes like UNICEF.David also mentioned, “And I have tried to do the same, I’ve tried to do the same with my children, to educate them,” he said. “They make mistakes, but children are allowed to make mistakes. That is how they learn. That is what I try to teach my kids.”“You sometimes have to let them make those mistakes as well,” he added. Go to Source
