Made on a reported budget of Rs 225 crore, the film delivered profits of Rs 669.49 crore and an ROI of 297.55 percent, securing its place among the most profitable Hindi films in recent years. It also became the highest-grossing film for its principal cast — including Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, R.
